RSVP Volunteer Agencies
RSVP Volunteers serve at local nonprofits and local or county governmental community service organizations throughout Contra Costa County. Agencies that participate in our RSVP volunteer program complete an agreement (Memo of Understanding) with us to cover items such as:
- Volunteers referred to them are provided with orientation, training and supervision.
- Agency can verify the validity of reports showing hours worked by volunteer.
- Agency can supply us with statistical information, if applicable, on volunteer impact on community needs.
- Agency does not discriminate in the operation of its program on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, age, political affiliation, religion or on the basis of disability if the volunteer is a qualified individual with a disability.
We are especially interested in working with Contra Costa organizations that address our primary community needs such as food distribution, transportation, senior companionship and successful aging and community policing. We also partner with agencies that offer meaningful and quality volunteer opportunities that appeal to baby boomers.
If you would like to become an RSVP partner agency, please contact Ann Wullschleger, RSVP Program Director, at 925-472-5771.
