Every year, thousands of youth help their community through volunteer service. Students clean creeks, serve the hungry, tutor children, and contribute in so many other ways.

Student Volunteers Make a Difference!
Thank you to our volunteer videographer, Shari Dyer from Keigan Productions, for making this film.
If you are interested in working on a volunteer team, consider joining the Youth Action Council, a group of high school students who meet and take an active role in their community and give a youth voice to volunteerism. The Council selects, plans, promotes, and participates in volunteer projects (typically 8-10 projects per month) benefiting a variety of nonprofits.
Past Youth Action Council projects have included:
Sorting food collected from food drives at the Food Bank
Serving dinner at a nonprofit fundraising event
Making Easter Baskets for low-income children
Cleaning a creek
